Yagan’s Story & Swan Valley
Travelling with Nyoongar man and university professor; Simon Forrest around Perth and through the Swan Valley we will visit particular places important in the re-telling of the story of Yagan on this interesting day tour from Perth. Yagan was born circa 1795 and died sometime in July 1833.
He was a Nyoongar leader and resistance fighter during the early years of the Swan River Colony. In the conflict that ensued, Yagan was both feared and admired by Europeans as a patriot fighting for his land. In today’s Nyoongar community, Yagan is an iconic figure in the fight for Nyoongar rights and recognition.
Nannup Flower & Garden Festival Tour
Through the south west to beautiful Nannup on the Blackwood River. Enjoy Nannup and the Nannup Flower & Garden Festival, stunning stalls, gardens, displays, information and sales. This show has grown in variety and size in the last few years to now be one of our most popular regional events. In the afternoon we take one of the most delightful drives in Western Australia to quaint little town of Balingup, before heading back into Perth after enjoying a magnificent day trip.
Cambinata Yabbie Farm Tour
Come with us and meander through some beautiful countryside through National Parks on this day tour from Perth travelling to Kurkerin, to enjoy a tour of the Cambinata Yabby Farm, owned and operated by the Nenke’s since 1990. After touring their famed farm, you will enjoy a feast of freshly steamed yabbies, salad and freshly made bread for a banquet lunch and have a little time to walk off the over indulgence before jumping back on the coach to head back to Perth.
Alpacas in the Gardens of Jalbrook Estate Tour

Bull & Barrel Festival Dardanup
Day trip from Perth to the winding through the green pastures of the hidden Ferguson Valley to settle into Dardanup and the Bull & Barrel Festival. Free time to wander the festival and enjoy lunch. Down to the interesting sprawling village of Gnomesville with thousands of Garden Gnomes taking over the bushland. Travel over to Bunbury and the new Bunbury Farmers Market to indulge a little more with an ice-cream or stock up for the week.
Penguin Island Wildlife Cruise
Down to Shoalwater for this wonderful day tour for morning tea on the foreshore before we board our first ferry to transfer to Penguin Island. On the island we get up close with the penguins in the discovery centre and keep a look out for the other wildlife of the island.
Later board a glass bottom boat for a cruise of the Shoalwater Bay wildlife sanctuary, taking in the rugged islands, nesting bird life and the rare Australian sea lions basking on the beach and frolicking in the water. Return to the mainland to wander the redeveloped Rockingham foreshore and city centre.
Christmas Fruit Picking
Driving south this morning, along some beautiful National Park countryside on this day tour of Perth we will be journeying to Carholly Orchard to pick our own Necatrines, Plums and Cherries. All the magnificent stone fruit in time for December’s Christmas feasts. On the drive home we will stop into the Pinjarra Bakery for a well-deserved gelato before heading back into Perth.
Collie River Cruise
All aboard the “Elandra” for this day tour to cruise the Collie River where the dolphins, birdlife and many forms of wildlife unique to South Western Australia are abundant. Elandra explores many hidden spots, that other vessels cannot reach, taking passengers drifting by modern day mansions, then back through time.
Reynoldson Reserve Festival – Wongan Hills
Starting with this spectacular wildflower day tour out of Perth to view the seven varieties of Verticordia flowering in the Northern Wheatbelt, these petite, diverse flowers give rise to the common name Feather flowers. The name Verticordia is a term derived from Latin verto cor, translated as ‘the turner of hearts’. The town will have live entertainment, stalls, photography exhibition as well as a guided walk of the Reynoldson Reserve.
