4 Day Cape to Cape Trail Walk Tour
Day 1
(MD, Motel) We commence our 4 Day Cape to Cape Trail Walk tour by heading down to Dunsborough for lunch, then into the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park for the first time. In the afternoon we warm up the legs with a visit to Ngilgi Cave before settling into our accommodation in Margaret River. Note: Cave Entry included.
Day 2
(FB, MD, Motel) To Cape Naturaliste lighthouse we start our first walk heading south past Sugarloaf Rock and Three Bears. From here we drop onto Kabbijup Beach before Ti Tree Grove at Mount Duckworth to reach Yallingup Beach Lookout where our coach will be waiting (10 km walk). In the afternoon we visit the Chocolate Company and spend time in Margaret River.
Day 3
(FB, MD, Motel) Today we take in one of the mid sections of the trail around Rainbow Cave. We reach the coast at Boodjidup Brook before a rest at Redgate Beach. At this halfway point you can board the coach or continue across Calgarup Brook to reach Contos Beach and finish the walk at the Conto Campground (6 km + 6 km walks). This afternoon relax with a tasting at Xanadu Winery in Margaret River. Note: Wine Tasting Included.
Day 4
(FB) Down to the southern end of the trail taking in the section from the Augusta Golf Course through low coastal heath to the beach. A generally flat walk for the rest of the morning to reach Skippy Rock, Quarry Bay and the end of the trail at the Water Wheel (10 km walk). From Cape Leeuwin we lunch in Augusta before heading back home full of the memories and fresh air of the Cape.
